FeiyuTech was rumoured to be the favourite gimbal at GoPro headquarters. So it’s no surprise I was excited to put the newly released WG2 waterproof wearable gimbal to the test. Better in almost every way than its predecessor, FeiyuTech continues to raise the bar for action cam gimbals.

- fresh-water only and not deep:
- <5min and no more than .5m deep
- can splash with salt water, but must wash by submerging in freshwater for 3 min to prevent crystals forming on gimbal motors

VERDICT
It’s crazy to think this is just one generation ahead of the WGS I recently reviewed. The WG2 solves many of my gripes with its predecessor and makes this an indispensable tool for GoPro owners who hope to easily capture cinematic footage. I couldn’t whole-heartedly recommend the previous gimbal, but the FeiyuTech WG2 gets 2 big thumbs up ! If your action cam fits, this is the very best accessory you can get.
